Small commercial along the corridor, including the buildings nobody thinks about
On most yards and distribution sites the equipment gets looked after and the office, the welfare block and the guard house do not. Those are the buildings people actually sit in.
Where we work in Jurupa Valley and Riverside
Offices and suites
Small offices and professional suites along the boulevards. Rooftop packaged units and splits, zoning that somebody reconfigured for a layout that has since changed, filter programmes and a written record per unit.
Retail units
Door-open trading, west glass and one unit expected to cope with both. Honest conversations about air curtains and vestibules, including when the answer for your door is that they are not worth the money.
Workshops and light industrial
Tall doors, high bays and a process that makes heat. Destratification, spot cooling at the workstation rather than the whole volume, extraction and make-up air, sized for how the space is actually worked.
Yards and distribution sites
The office, the guard house, the welfare block, the break room and the parts store. Small buildings, often portable, often on their own split systems, and often the last thing on anybody’s schedule.
Restaurants and cafes
Where hood exhaust and dining-room comfort are one problem. We measure the make-up air, because a room that cannot hold temperature at service usually has a building being pulled into a vacuum by its own hood.
Landlords and managers
Attend, diagnose, photograph, price, report, and authorise nothing without your written say-so. Annual condition surveys per unit across a portfolio.
What we do not take on
Said here rather than discovered on site, because a wasted visit costs you a morning.
Commercial refrigeration
Cold rooms, coolers, freezers and process cooling are a different trade with different equipment, refrigerants and certification. On a distribution site that distinction matters, and we name it on the telephone rather than after driving out.
Building and permit work
We are a heating and cooling contractor, not a builder. Insulation, framing, windows, roofing and anything to do with a permit application belong to other people, and we will say so plainly rather than offer an opinion that is worth nothing.
Specification-driven conditions
Where a temperature, humidity or air-change figure comes from a product standard, an auditor, an insurer or a regulator, that number is theirs. We will design to a figure you give us and say honestly whether the building can hold it. We will not invent one.
Cooling an outdoor space
We get asked. An open yard, a loading bay with the door up or a shaded patio cannot be air conditioned in any meaningful sense, and anybody who quotes for it is selling you fans and evaporative equipment under another name. We will tell you what those actually do and let you decide.
A schedule that survives a July
Filters at an interval that suits your actual air — on this corridor, with the dust and the traffic, that is usually shorter than the label suggests. Coils cleaned properly, drains proved, contactors inspected, charge and combustion measured, run times checked for cycling, readings entered against last year’s.
One document per site listing every unit, where it is, what it serves, its age from its serial number and its last readings. If you change contractor, it goes with you.
